{"id":124,"date":"2016-02-01T09:09:49","date_gmt":"2016-02-01T08:09:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/digv030.joanneum.at\/regionaal\/?p=124&#038;lang=en"},"modified":"2017-02-15T14:08:45","modified_gmt":"2017-02-15T13:08:45","slug":"regionaal-en-route","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/regionaal.at\/en\/2016\/02\/01\/regionaal-en-route\/","title":{"rendered":"RegionAAL en route"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A big part of the RegionAAL team (13 people) took off on 19 January 2016 to visit and learn from two other Austrian AAL test regions: the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zentraal.at\/\">ZentrAAL<\/a> in Salzburg and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.west-aal.at\/\">West-AAL<\/a> in Innsbruck.<\/p>\n<p>Following the team\u2019s arrival at Salzburg and a short <a href=\"http:\/\/www.decesare.at\/\">refreshment<\/a><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_70\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-70\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/regionaal.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2016\/02\/regionaal-bei-zentraal.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-70 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/regionaal.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2016\/02\/regionaal-bei-zentraal-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"regionaal-bei-zentraal\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-70\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">RegionAAL at ZentrAAL<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>break, the group was warmly welcomed by Cornelia Schneider and Victoria Willner (both from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.salzburgresearch.at\/en\/\">Salzburg Research<\/a>) and we discussed some topics that are particularly interesting for us, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Requirements and users<\/li>\n<li>Selection of technical components<\/li>\n<li>Study planning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On the same day, the RegionAAL team continued its journey to Innsbruck, where they had a chance to visit the beautiful old town and finish the day with a nice <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stiftskeller.eu\/en\/news-from-the-stiftskeller.html\">dinner<\/a>. Not only did it provide the opportunity to reflect on the visit to ZentrAAL, but also for the development of further ideas for the project.<br \/>\nRegionAAL at West-AAL<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_71\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-71\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/regionaal.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2016\/02\/regionaal-bei-westaal.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-71 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/regionaal.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2016\/02\/regionaal-bei-westaal-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"RegionAAl at WestAAL\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-71\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">RegionAAl at WestAAL<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The visit to West-AAL took place on 20 January 2016. The team was greeted by Felix Piazzolo and Luka Cotelj (both from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uibk.ac.at\/index.html.en\">University of Innsbruck<\/a>) in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seniorenresidenzen.co.at\/veldidenapark-innsbruck-startseite.html\">senior residence Veldidenapark<\/a>. The test region West-AAL operates one year longer than ZentrAAL; hence, beside the above mentioned issues, advice could be sought on other topics due to the experience of the team at West-AAL:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rolling out technologies that are planned to be installed<\/li>\n<li>Equipment and construction of a model apartment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These visits were certainly a very valuable experience for team RegionAAL, and they could take on a lot of experience for their own project.
