A series of interactive workshops were offered in the forum\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.aalforum.eu\/fullprogramme\/\">programme<\/a>.\u00a0The Austrian AAL regions organized one of the Workshops (<strong><em>&#8220;Pilot studies as enabler for the market introduction of AAL Solutions&#8221;<\/em><\/strong>)\u00a0which dealt with a number of aspects that are important when preparing and performing a pilot region with a field trial.<\/p>\n<p>Three regions were participating in the workshop.\u00a0The Styrian region\u00a0<strong>RegionAAL<\/strong> presented <em>&#8220;Which (AAL) technologies to choose \/ to use?&#8221;<\/em>, <strong>Smart VitAALity<\/strong> from Carinthia told about <em>&#8220;Boundaries for planning pilot studies&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0and <strong>West-AAL<\/strong> from Tyrol and Vorarlberg showed <em>&#8220;Study results as basis for follow-up activities&#8221;<\/em>. In addition the study <strong>EvAALuation<\/strong> provided <em>&#8220;Indicators for evaluating the impact of AAL solutions&#8221;<\/em>. The second part of the workshop was dedicated to an interesting fishbowl discussion.
