{"id":625,"date":"2018-11-23T14:02:52","date_gmt":"2018-11-23T13:02:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/regionaal.at\/en\/?p=625"},"modified":"2019-02-26T09:23:43","modified_gmt":"2019-02-26T08:23:43","slug":"aal-in-practice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/regionaal.at\/en\/2018\/11\/23\/aal-in-practice\/","title":{"rendered":"AAL in practice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 15 November 2019, Kerstin L\u00f6ffler from Geriatric Health Centres of the City of Graz (GGZ) presented RegionAAL and the importance of AAL at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salzburgresearch.at\/event\/aal%E2%80%90praxiskonferenz-2018\/\">first AAL Practice Conference<\/a> in Salzburg:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>As a competence centre for geriatric medicine and care, we focus on the needs of older people. Active and assisted living (AAL) technologies can be a chance to strengthen the responsibility and independence of older people. Technical support for older people allows the possibilities to live independently and self-determined at home as long as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Involving the target group actively is the central element for further developments of AAL technologies.
