Second model apartment furnished
Modern technologies that support older people and caregivers in their daily lives are becoming increasingly important. This should increase the quality of life for older people.
Since May 2018, the second RegionAAL model apartment is available. It was established by the Sozialverein Deutschlandsberg in Stainz. In this model apartment, the research project RegionAAL will be made available to all those interested, to show how older people can be assisted to live longer, where they feel comfortable and where they are used to live: in their own home!
Visits are possible after registration.

Monthly informal meetings
After the successful start of the tests in the households in Graz, Leibnitz and Deutschlandsberg, our participants exchange information on the various technical devices during monthly meetings. In the cozy setting with coffee and cake, the project staff clarifies open questions and discusses individual applications. Through this regular exchange with the participants, we get a lot of helpful input for the further course of our project.
The next meeting for Graz will take place on 28.11.2017 at “Tageszentrum Robert Stolz” in Theodor-Körner-Straße 67, 8010 Graz.

Presentation of interim results
The course of action for evaluating the acceptance and influence of the proposed technologies as well as prototypes of the adapted products were shown to representatives of the national funding body and external evaluators.
